Launched in 2010, our Consumer and Brand division was created in recognition of our clients’ need for compelling consumer strategies and campaigns that deliver bottom line results.

For over 40 years, Murray have been the leading independent Corporate & Public Affairs PR practice in Ireland. We work alongside our colleagues in Murray Consultants to provide integrated PR and communications solutions to a wide range of national and international businesses.
We also offer a full service creative solution through Murray Creative – our digitally-led creative agency that combines strategic planning with technological expertise and first rate creativity. We work alongside Murray Creative to amplify our consumer PR executions across all channels in today’s integrated multimedia environment.

A true brand aficionado, Avril has developed high impact integrated PR campaigns for a host of household names. Having held senior roles with award-winning agencies in Dublin and London, Avril boasts over ten years’ experience in strategic brand communications. She has particular expertise with food, drink, automotive, consumer technology and retail brands. Avril has a BA in Communications Studies from DCU and holds an MA in Public relations from DIT.
A strategic thinker with a flair for fresh and innovative ideas, Norman has over 13 years’ extensive consumer and lifestyle brand experience devising award winning campaigns for leading Irish and international brands. Over the years he has overseen some of Ireland’s most high-profile and impactful consumer brand launches. He has a deep understanding of the brand communications space with a natural flair for digital and influencer marketing. He has particular expertise across the fashion, beauty, retail, property, hospitality and lifestyle sectors. He holds a Law and Business Degree and Masters in Commercial Law both from UCD as well as Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations from the Fitzwilliam Institute.
Niamh is particularly skilled in developing original consumer campaigns. With over nine years’ experience in Public Relations, Niamh has devised and executed tailored communications plans for a range of consumer clients. Her creativity and attention to detail flourish in her work for consumer accounts across the retail, beauty, food and automotive sectors. Niamh has a BA in English, Media and Cultural Studies from the Institute of Art Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations and Event Management from the Fitzwilliam Institute.
Diarmaid is our in-house sports expert, a keen sportsman himself, with particular passion for GAA, soccer and rugby. Diarmaid boasts over 7 years’ experience in the areas of brand communications, sports and sponsorship, and digital. He has successfully managed sponsorship campaigns for many clients including Three, SKODA, Cadbury, Kellogg’s Cúl Camps, Beko and MBNA Kick Fada. A graduate of National University of Ireland, Galway, Diarmaid also holds a Degree in Commerce and a MBS in Corporate Strategy and People Management.
Murray Brand’s resident music expert, Colm has over 10 years’ experience in leading some of the biggest live music events in Ireland. As the brains behind the publicity and digital strategy for the Longitude Festival, he has positioned it as one of Ireland’s premium live events. Music entertainment PR is his forte. Colm has managed a wide range of concerts and events for leading artists such as U2, One Direction and Beyoncé. Colm also boasts an extensive background in radio presenting and producing on FM104, Spin 1038 and Dublin City FM.
Orla is an all-round bright spark. Her passion for her work is infectious and she has a flair for tapping into the right influencer audiences, executing top-class media relations, and providing the integral support required to drive successful campaigns and meet desired objectives. Orla currently works on clients such as L’Oréal Active Cosmetics, Audi, and Beko. Orla has a first class BA (Hons) Degree in International Business and Italian from the Dublin Institute of Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Event Management from The Fitzwilliam Institute.
